A pebbled grain with a dressier look. The pebble is not stamped in — the hide is tumbled until the grain rises on its own. So the grain varies across the hide: tighter in one place, softer in another. That is the nature of it, and no two covers come out exactly alike. The raised grain hides scuffs well, too. The marks of daily carry blend into the texture instead of standing out.
